Jaqua Pearce was first introduced to the violin at age seven as a student in the Orange County Public Schools’ strings program. Pearce attended Winter Park High School and was a member of their Park Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2006, she performed with this orchestra at the coveted Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois.

Pearce attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) where she participated in several master classes and performed with a variety of musicians and ensembles throughout Central Florida.

After graduating from UCF in 2012, Pearce later auditioned and became a member of the Central Florida Community Arts Orchestra. She was Concertmaster for their production of  “Guys & Dolls,” and First Violin for their production of “Beauty & the Beast with the Orlando Ballet,” along with several other productions. Pearce also joined the First Baptist Church of Orlando Orchestra and played First Violin in their production of “Singing Christmas Trees” for two years. In 2017, Pearce joined the Encore! Orchestra and performed in their fall Pops Concert. Pearce became a violinist with Violectric, Fretless Rock and Strings Etc. in January 2017.
